The collective artwork
A large canvas where every customer of the weekend leaves a mini symbol in Posca — a heart, an emoji, a first name — guided by the artists. Hundreds of hands, one artwork: the star lot of the sale, loaded with stories.
Charity project
The idea with the greatest potential in the whole project: bringing together art, public participation and solidarity, with the embassies as a sounding board.
A large canvas where every customer of the weekend leaves a mini symbol in Posca — a heart, an emoji, a first name — guided by the artists. Hundreds of hands, one artwork: the star lot of the sale, loaded with stories.
Over the weekend, the volunteer artists — BERNS and his guests — each create a small work, painted live and filmed, with an introduction to the artist: who they are, their path, why they are taking part.
The association
A French humanitarian association for solidarity optics, led by Sergio Alejandro. Its mission: making sight accessible to the most deprived — screening days and distribution of prescription glasses in areas where optical care is all but non-existent. It is preparing a mission to Colombia. The sale would fund that mission directly: art made in Montmartre becomes sight restored in Colombia.
@lesensdelavuThe plan: to organise, with the Colombian and Peruvian embassies in France, a private-view and sale evening after the festival. Works on show, introductions to the artist and the association, a sale for the cause, and a public handover of the funds.
Status: the legal framework for the charity auction is still to be defined, as are the agreements with the embassies and the association. No bidding is open on this site. Leave your email to be told as soon as the date and terms are settled.
